Joseph Goodson
Dr. Joseph P. Goodson has specialized in orthodontics in Austin and Round Rock for more than 40 years. His proven orthodontic experience combines with the most advanced orthodontic techniques to provide each patient with the finest orthodontic care available.
Dr. Goodson received his Master of Science in orthodontics from Washington University in St. Louis in 1976, and his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from the University of Louisville in 1974. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Capital Area Dental Society, and the Austin Orthodontic Study Group.
Dr. Goodson liked his own orthodontist so much that he decided to become an orthodontist when he was 14 years old. He considers it a privilege to have a part in creating so many beautiful Texas smiles. Orthodontics has truly been his “life work.”
Married since 1984, Dr. Goodson has one daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys water sports and fishing with family and friends. He has two spoiled spaniels.
