Billie Means

Dr. Means completed her bachelor’s degree at Iowa State University with a major in art and minor in architecture. Her dental degree is from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Upon graduation, she did her post-graduate study in Orthodontics at the University of Minnesota.

Before joining the team at Dental Care of Texas, Dr. Means had her own private practice for over 20 years. She is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics and the Southwestern Society of Orthodontists. She has been a member of the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association for most of her practicing years. She is also a member of the Denton County Dental Society of Study Club.

Dr. Means is married to her high school sweetheart, Randy Means. Randy was a Systems Engineer for IBM before taking early retirement; he then taught and coached for the Carrollton independence School district for many years. They have two children: Jason, who is a Forensic Specialist for Bank of America and Andrea, who is a Medical Doctor at Baylor, and six very active grandchildren.
