Kathleen McGrory

Dr. McGrory graduated magna cum laude from the University of Missouri with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and a minor in Political Science.

Then she studied dentistry at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston, where she received her DDS degree. She also received multiple academic awards and was inducted into the dental honor society Omicron Kappa Upsilon.

After she completed her dental training, Dr. McGrory earned a Master of Science Degree and Certificate in Orthodontics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

She gained board certification in 2007 and is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics.

Besides leading her own practice, Dr. McGrory is a faculty member at the Department of Orthodontics at the University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston. She lectures on topics related to orthodontics in the United States and abroad.

Dr. McGrory is a published chapter author focusing on orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning and using lasers in orthodontics.

As a lifelong learner, she enjoys staying at the forefront of orthodontics and takes continuing education courses and being an active member of the dental community.
