Mathue Faulkner

Dr. Mathue was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah where he graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Utah with a degree in Medical Biology. During his undergraduate education, he took a two-year hiatus to volunteer as a missionary in Japan where he developed a love of service and community. Upon returning to the U.S., he began working as an orthodontic assistant, and grew to appreciate how both service and community are intertwined with the orthodontic profession.

During dental school at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco, Dr. Mathue was an active volunteer in many of the dental community outreach programs while also devoting time to genetic research for cleft lip and palate. After graduating near the top of his class, he continued his education by studying for an additional three years at the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he received his orthodontic certificate in 2011. While there, he also earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree for his thesis on cytokine production in the gingival crevicular fluid of orthodontic patients.

Dr. Mathue understands the importance of continuing his orthodontic education by staying abreast of the latest developments and trends in the field. As such, he devotes a significant portion of his free time to continuing education courses and seminars in order to provide the best and latest treatment to his patients. Dr. Mathue is driven by creating beautiful and healthy smiles that change the lives of his patients.
