A native of Allen, Texas, Dr. Robert Judy attended the University of Texas at Austin for undergraduate and later received his dental degree from The University of Southern California School of Dentistry and his orthodontic specialty training from the Tri-Service Orthodontic Residency Program in San Antonio, TX.
Dr. Judy has been trained in many modern techniques, including Invisalign®, ceramic braces, and self-ligating braces such as Damon® and In-Ovation®. He has been trained in the use of temporary anchorage devices (TADs) and many other contemporary methods. Dr. Judy is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association, and the Southwestern Society of Orthodontist.
Prior to private practice Dr. Judy served nine years in the United States Air Force as a dentist and orthodontist where he was the Chief of Orthodontics for the Oral and Maxillofacial surgery program at David Grant Medical Center (2004-2006), Chief of Orthodontics for the Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program at Travis Air Force Base (2004-2006) and Member of the Dentofacial Deformities Board at Wilford Hall Medical Center and David Grant Medical Center (2002-2006).
Dr. Judy and his wife have one daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys watching the Texas Rangers, playing baseball in an adult baseball league, snow skiing, and hiking with his family.
Dr. Judy is committed to maintaining an excellent standard of care. His practice philosophy is to provide each person the best possible orthodontic care and customer service. Dr. Judy enjoys helping his patients discover the smile they deserve in a fantastically fun and friendly environment! He enjoys interacting with his patients and their families, working with a great team, and being a part of his patients’ lives.
